Time to Celebrate 1,000 Followers with Another Joke!

My wife packed my bags and kicked me out of the house….

As I walked out the front door she screamed, “I wish you a slow and painful death, you bastard!”

“Oh” I replied, “So now you want me to stay?”

*eye roll*

To my loyal followers, thanks for sticking with me for so long, and to those new followers who I’ve only just become acquainted with – I look forward to getting to know you! When I first started this blog, I never could have imagined how important it would be to me or how much support I could find in random strangers. It’s a place to vent, a place to share, a place to laugh and a place to reflect…

I’m honored to have any following at all and I do this because I truly love it. πŸ˜‰
I hope I can encourage those around me in this blogosphere to love it as much as I do;Β even though sometimes I’m cranky AF (which is often). I also care for you folks, and it’s pretty cool that we all have a single passion in common…

      1. I agree. Good or average or even mediocre writers we may be but it’s a trade that comes with huge benefits. What boils in our minds can be transferred into something tangible on paper, so to speak.

  2. Congrats Matthew! I’m sure the next milestone is going to be here in no time.
I must say though, throughout the journey of this blog, I loved the idea of interviews with other bloggers/writers the most. It’s brilliant!
It looks like university is going smoothly and I wish for it to stay like that =)

Sorry to hear about your wife. I'm not defending her or anything but she might want you back again later in life (or never) but the thing is, when my son was born I suffered from postpartum depression, not extreme kind like I want to kill my son or harm myself. No, I love being a mother, but I was sad the whole time. It got better after 3 months. But there's one thing I felt that I never heard anyone say before I search the internet and found out I'm not the only one. And that is, I hated my husband. He is the love of my life, but during the first (at least) 18 months of our son's age, I couldn't stand being close to him. I shout at him for every little things. Everything he does felt annoying. He sat down on the opposite side of the sofa? Annoying! (I'm not joking) but in the corner of my mind I know I was wrong, so I told him. He put up with it even when I almost want to burn the house down because he's with me.

What I'm trying to say is, you're wife is probably going through the same thing and isn't aware of what she's missing by kicking you out.

Sorry for the long depressing comment. Congrats again on your milestone πŸ™‚
