Wild Poetry: Paradise (By Jessica E Larsen)

Today we took a walk,
Through the wild flowers in the forest.
Climb the hill beside a beautiful brook
Lay on the soft green grass beneath the blue, blue sky
Listening to the tree leaves rustle at gentle breeze
As if saying ‘hey everything’s going to be okay’

As the night falls

Here we are, inside each other’s arms
Gazing at twinkling stars
Growing old together and staying forever.
Like fairy-tales just better.
Sunshine will always be with you and me

All days of our life
Because this is our planet.
Paradise that we created.

      1. I feel like poetry is a sort of Universal language that we can all understand a little more easily than prose because it’s all based on feeling. I’m biased towards poetry but I’ve been thinking of allowing guest posts too. Sort of building my way up to that I guess! I don’t currently get a ton of poetry submissions either unfortunately!

I hope it exposes them (and jessica especially) to others too!
