Happy Holidays to You World!

“Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!” – Charles Dickens

Happy Holidays Everybody!

I hope yours was purrfect!

I hope that the Christmas holidays have been treating you all well. If you’re not celebrating Christmas, than I hope that your religious holiday is kicking ass or the secular non-religious celebrations are still bringing good times. I for one am not religious, but hell, I still find Christmas a wonderful holiday to celebrate our relationships and to show gratitude for those we love.

I know that I’ve been slacking on writing this December, but I’ve just sort of dried up with a lot of my creative juices after writing so many essays for school. I’ve been spending a lot of time with my daughter, working and even a little dating.

My daughter has been spoiled with Christmas gifts and even celebrated her first birthday which was fun. I’ve found myself immensely grateful for my family, my daughter and my baby mama Christina this holiday.

The snow has come, the snow has melted and I’m sure the snow will come again. My body seems prepared for Winter though because I’ve been eating like a fat kid and I’m ready to hibernate any day now!

I hope that you’ve all been well, and I’m thinking about you all as I try to get going again on the blogging front. Wishing you all the best and a happy new years, if I’m not back again before than. Happy Blogging. πŸ™‚ ❀

How’s your Christmas been? Will you have a New Years Resolution?

      1. Hope you did too, Mat! πŸ˜€ Book’s coming along fine – finished releasing the final few chapters online & moving into short stories for my first published collection – hopefully through Amazon in the New Year! *crosses fingers*

      2. Thanks ever so much for always being such an encouraging friend! πŸ™‚ I’m working too at the moment, luckily I had a few draft story ideas rolling while I was job-hunting so I could space them out weekly now.

      1. πŸ™‚ Wish you a successful year ahead Mathew. And yes of course, people celebrate xmas in India and normally there’s a 2 weeks holiday for xmas. Although celebrations mostly stays within Christian families, putting up a xmas tree and a family get together etc are common for people of every religion, and celebrations aren’t as crazy as Europe I would say, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same way as Europe in Canada. πŸ™‚
